Kendal Rugby Union Football Club has published a detailed statistical record showing which players have made the most appearances and scored the most points for the club’s First XV and Wasps teams.

The club’s figures cover First XV playing records from 1905 to the end of the 2025 season. They also include Wasps appearances and scoring records from 2013/14 to 2025/26, although the club says the information is based on what has been found so far and may not be complete.

First XV records

Glenn Chesher leads the First XV appearance table with 243 matches, narrowly ahead of Matt Houghton on 240. Alistair Thompson is third with 200, followed by Reece Tomlinson on 183 and Dini Noyo on 157.

Among more recent players, Aaron Stephens has 78 appearances and leads the First XV points table with 361 points. His total includes 12 tries, nine conversions and 53 penalties. Matt Houghton follows with 320 points, while Dini Noyo has 295.

The published records also show Evan Moir scoring 227 points from 25 appearances, including 16 tries, three conversions and two penalties. Ollie Rose has 140 points from 42 appearances.

Wasps milestones

Aimee Sharp tops the Wasps appearance list with 125 matches. Sarah Wilkinson has 110, while Hayley Hodgson has 109. Hayley Hodgson is also the leading Wasps points scorer, with 734 points from 140 tries and 17 conversions.

Sarah Wilkinson is second on 270 points, followed by Tamar Benson on 253. The table includes players whose records began as early as 2013/14 and newer entries from the 2025/26 season.
