A proposed 20mph scheme for Burneside, near Kendal, is moving into a 21-day statutory consultation after changes were made following community feedback. Residents can now comment on the detailed Traffic Regulation Order before Westmorland and Furness Council decides whether the scheme should be implemented later in 2026.
