Kendal Rugby Union Football Club has not confirmed whether a planned maintenance day at Mint Bridge took place, leaving residents, supporters and club families without a clear update on the work needed before the 2026/27 season.

Work planned at Mint Bridge
The session was intended to prepare the clubhouse and wider Mint Bridge facilities for the new campaign. The proposed jobs covered several parts of the site, including clearing and tidying the kit room and container, painting, repairs and cleaning inside the clubhouse.
Volunteers were also asked to help with general tidying, sorting and organising archived collections. The appeal did not require specialist maintenance experience, although it did not provide a detailed list of the skills required.
