Kendal Rugby Union Football Club has confirmed nine further playing changes for the 2026/27 season, alongside the appointments of Abby Alexander and Dan Stephens to its board.
The latest squad update, published on Friday 14 August, includes four returning players and five new arrivals. The club said more information about the players expected to feature would follow, with further announcements planned as squad details are confirmed.
Four players return to Kendal
Andy Rogers, Joe Anderson, Dev Coyle and Dini Noyo have all re-signed for Kendal.
Rogers is recovering from an operation. The club hopes he will be able to return to the team in the New Year.
The four players join 13 previously confirmed returnees: Aaron Stephens, Alfie Bradshaw, Barney Coxon, Ben Dixon, Ben O’Halloran, Dan Shorrock, Dane Blenkharn, Glenn Chesher, Luke Atkinson, Matty Houghton, Ollie Rose, Oscar Coxon and Patrick Wolstenholme.
Ben Dixon will captain the side for a third season, providing continuity as Kendal reshapes its squad ahead of the new campaign.
Five new players added to the squad
Prop Finn Kennedy is among the new signings after making 35 appearances for Carlisle over the past two seasons.
Hooker Angus Knight is also joining Kendal. Knight previously played junior rugby for the club and represented Kirkby Lonsdale. The club’s update links him with Syston, Thanet Wanderers, Loughborough and Kirtstall, while noting that available records differ over parts of his recent playing history.
Front-row player Arran Sulivan, from Aspatria, has also been added to the squad. Zane Butler is returning to Kendal from New Zealand after previously playing for the club.
Butler made his Kendal debut during the 2008/09 season and has scored 36 tries in 92 appearances. His earlier spell included the club’s promotion-winning 2015/16 side, although he missed the final match of that season after breaking his leg against Leigh.

Alongside the player news, Kendal Rugby Union Football Club confirmed that Abby Alexander and Dan Stephens have joined its board.
